How to set up a Powwerweb Communication Site!
Whether you are new to web site world or need to upgrade or replace an existing site, Powwerweb can make the process easy and inexpensive. To get started I suggest you
take out a piece of notebook paper and sketch out your sites navigation. Draw your home page at the top of the paper in the center. Then on the next level down, in an
outline form, draw the connecting pages you want to link to the home page. Then, think about any pages you want cross linked to other pages, and make your outline show
this as well. For seamless navigation purposes, all your pages should link back to your home page so your visitors can find their way home.
Payments and Cost Variation:
If you want to pay just the $100.00 setup fee for your site, you will need to be organized in your thoughts and your plan of attack. To begin work on your new site, you
will have a seven day period to get all the information over to me by way of email, snail mail or by hand. We will get the interim, local site up and running the first couple
of days. For the remainder of the seven day setup period, adjustments and upgrades may be made. You direct, I follow. When you like the site, you pay your $100.00 and I make the site live. From that point forward for a period of one full year, barring any unforeseen server hiccups, your site should be operational with no changes or further charges.
Site Changes or Upgrades:
If you think you may want to make changes through the year, you will pay the initial $100.00 setup fee plus a monthly fee for any month you make changes or upgrades to your
site. If you make changes or upgrades in only one month for the year, you will only be charged for that month based on how many changes you requested.
Site changes or upgrades in a calendar month are noted as "Changes."
Monthly fee schedule for changes:
- Minimum fee for changes in a calendar month: $25.00
- Maximum fee for changes in a calendar month: $85.00
- Fee for one to five changes: $25.00
- Fee for six to ten changes: $45.00
- Fee for eleven to fifteen changes: $65.00
- Fee for sixteen or more changes: $85.00
All fees must be made through PayPal at the Powwerweb checkout. We accept Visa, Mastercharge, Discover & Amex Cards. Your initial fee will be billed after your seven day period has expired and you agree to the layout. Any
monthly change fees will be billed when you request the changes.
Please be aware that changes to your site should be subtle and a well setup site should not need a lot of changes in the overall look of the site. In other words, you
would not want to completely rebuild your site every month. Your visitors will become comfortable with the layout and will want to return to your site based on that comfort
level. Changes should only be improvements per your vision of the site.
